At Landmark, we have vibrant music, theater and visual arts
programs providing a wide range of opportunities for you to express
your artistic side — or enjoy the entertainment.
Landmark
offers a variety of courses in the arts, including painting,
sculpture, music, theater arts, poetry and dance. Each year,
we host a variety of art exhibits, theatrical performances, concerts
and publications showcasing the talents of our students.
Students
interested in music can get involved in:
- Band (pep and roving)
- Jazz Ensemble
- Chamber Ensemble and Chorus
- Plus Coffee House performances, theater accompaniment and talent
show acts
Students interested in theater can participate in Landmark’s
spring and fall productions. Plays are cast through auditions.
Students also can work on technical and set production crews, as
stage managers and ushers. Recent productionsinclude:
- You Can’t Take it With You
- The Bald Prima Donna
- The Mousetrap
- The Importance of Being Earnest
- The Shadow of a Gunman
- A Servant of Two Masters
Landmark also publishes the Impressions literary
magazine,
sponsors a Monday Night Drawing program, and offers video
production facilities. The campus radio
station, WLMC Landshark Radio, offers music,
talk, news and interview shows, plus opportunities for creative programming,
including radio drama or play reading, and original student music.
