The Credit Curriculum is f or students who enter the College with
the reading, writing, and critical thinking skills necessary to
fully participate in college-level curriculum.
In the Credit curriculum, students enroll in two required courses: College Composition and Rhetoric in the English department and Perspectives in Learning in the First Year Studies department. These core courses address the learning needs of the college-level student. In addition to these required courses, students select two credit-level electives. All courses focus on skill development and content while encouraging students to explore strategies to address their unique learning needs.
