Educational Technology Services (ETS)
Technology plays a critical role in teaching and learning at Landmark College. As a part of The College's Information Technology Services division, Educational Technology Services (ETS) offers training, research, resources, and consultation for students and faculty seeking to explore technology as a teaching and learning tool.
Our Mission:
To be proactive in the adoption and use of educational technologies, software, and methods intended to enhance the teaching and learning process in a universally-designed way.
What services does ETS offer?
- Training on all educational technologies in use at Landmark College
- Consultation regarding their use.
- Opportunities for training for individual and groups.
- Assistive Technology support, research and resources.
- Care of and training for Landmark's learning spaces (labs and classrooms).
- Administration of the Moodle system, Landmark's online course tool.
- Opportunities to explore emerging technologies.
- Assistance in curriculum-building using technology.
Digital Text Services
Digital Text Services in the Library provides scanning services and electronic copies of purchased textbooks and course materials.
About Digital Text Services:
- Provides more than 725 course texts formatted for Kurzweil
- Scans primary course texts (texts chosen by instructors)
- Grants student access to digital copies of course texts
- Helps students find digital copies of other books
- Helps faculty obtain clean hardcopies for Coursepacks
