OPEN POSITIONS:
DATABASE AND APPLICATION SYSTEMS SPECIALIST
The full-time position of Database and Application Systems Specialist reports to the CTO / Director of IT Services and is responsible for supporting the enterprise application systems utilized by the college and for servicing the community needs for information and system functionality. This includes business systems analysis and support, database administration, information analysis and reporting, customized programming, and vendor relationship management for product assessments, implementations, and problem resolution. This position, in conjunction with other IT colleagues, is accountable for the availability, reliability, and integrity of the enterprise information systems and data.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business systems analysis, application design and development, database administration, or related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in database and application programming/analysis utilizing relational database technology.Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL Server database analysis and administration.Solid understanding of application architectures, database architecture, .net application framework, IIS, web interfaces, and network systems. Experience with ETL processes and data migration tools. SSIS experience highly desirable. Experience with SSRS and other report writing tools. Experience with MS Access software and database structures. Experience implementing and supporting student information systems, preferably Sungard’s PowerCampus and Self-Service, in a higher education environment. Experience with PowerFAIDs financial aid system, Nelnet Quikpay systems, Great Plain financial system, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge fund raising system - highly desirable. Effective project management skills. PMP certification preferred. Excellent debugging and problem solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with staff and faculty at all levels of the organization is essential.

RESIDENT DEAN
This full-time (12 month) live-in position is responsible for the overall supervision of a designated residential area and for creating an environment conducive to student development and academic achievementand the facilitation of responsible, meaningful patterns of group and individual living. RD’s are responsible for administering a variety of operational, educational, and developmental functions, designed to fosterpersonal development and a sense of community within the residence hall including counseling and advising individual students, serving on college committee and supervising a paraprofessional staff of Resident Assistants. Salary is commensurate with experience. Other benefits include an apartment within the residence hall, full meal plan, medical,dental and retirement.
QUALIFICATIONS: A master’s degree in Student Life Administration or related field or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience; excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. The ability to responsibly handle sensitive/confidential information is critical, as well as the ability to work flexible, and non-traditional hours. Experience working with students with learning differences is a plus.
PROGRAM ASSOCIATE - ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
The Program Associate supports the offices in Academic Affairs. Duties include, but are not limited to typing, photocopying, word processing, file maintenance, telephone coverage, reception for various offices, fax transmittals, appointment scheduling, coordination of web site updates, note taking, communicating with faculty, staff, students and parents, reporting to the Office Manager of Academic Affairs.
QUALIFICATIONS: Exceptional office skills including typing, word processing, vocabulary, and grammatical skills, as well as problem solving capabilities. A strong work history and knowledge of office practices. Demonstrated ability to complete assignments in a timely and effective manner. Strong computer skills with specific knowledge of: Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Power Point, Publisher, Adobe Photoshop, and specific databases. Excellent communication and organizational skills, including ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Ability to work independently and the initiative and willingness to learn and take on new challenges. The ability to prioritize various projects, complete work, and responsibly handle confidential information in a professional manner.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL AID
Landmark currently seeks a Director of Financial Aid in the Office of Enrollment Management, reporting to the Vice President. The Director is responsible for the operational and fiscal administration of a two person Financial Aid Office. The Director assists the Vice President with developing/implementing financial aid strategies, policies, and procedures serving College goals and establishes/maintains a service-orientated financial aid delivery and counseling model. The Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state and institutional guidelines and serves as the liaison between the Office of Financial Aid and the College’s internal and external community. Works closely with the Admissions Office to facilitate student enrollment and the Business Office to ensure timely and accurate student financial data. The Director also develops communications, including web communications/applications detailing the financial aid process and external funding opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred, requires knowledge of financial aid requirements/regulations in higher ed. Must self-direct the work flow and organize priorities to meet deadlines using independent judgment. We seek a customer-service oriented, hands-on manager who enjoys working with students with learning differences, and counseling their families, in a transformational learning environment. Requires excellent oral, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Must have strong computer skills (including Powerfaids, and a commitment to confidentiality.
SECURITY OFFICER
Landmark College Department of Safety & Security is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Security Officer. Security Officers will perform a wide variety of college campus related security services that will ensure a safe learning, living, and working environment while protecting property, maintaining order, and enforce the policies of the college as well as federal, state, and local laws. This opening includes some weekends and evening shifts, with flexibility to cover special events as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Landmark College Security personnel are required to have excellent customer service and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and within a team, and knowledge of Vermont State law. In addition, officers must maintain a working vehicle and telephone, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass a thorough background investigation.
